Physical/Mental Demands:

The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time is under 25 pounds. Position Summary
Location:Role and Responsibilities
This Device Quality Manager role will be responsible for overseeing Samsung Mobile Products and providing Best-in-Class experience to our customers. This is a highly visible role and great opportunity to make a substantial impact on Samsung products. The DQM will define and implement processes for resolving issues and will be responsible for driving necessary resources for successful completion of resolution. These responsibilities will include specification working with internal quality assurance team, Korean Headquarters’ members, and customers for quality management and ongoing improvements.

Proactively evaluate products throughout its life cycle and drive higher standard of measurement
Identify fundamental risk of all products throughout the life cycle and drive corrective actions cross-functionally with internal and external teams
Lead weekly quality meetings with partners and manage quality escalation issues
Manage on on-going quality issues and the effectiveness of corrective action items
Generate product quality plan and strategy for continuously improving performance at every levels
Provide regular Executive level communication of all products’ performance overview
Working closely with the customer in order to set up new model return for quality inspections and supporting R&D engineers to make a deep-dive analysis for EWP phones
Generating formal customer reports documenting and informing management of the results and issues found during early returned phone inspection and responsible for communicating with the internal department regarding product quality and working for continuous improvement in a timely manner
Skills and Qualifications
Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor degree required, MS preferred (Engineering degree program concentration preferred but not required)
6+ years of experience in Quality Control; developing process quality plans, quality audits, and driving corrective actions and failure analysis efforts
Working knowledge of product development, quality management, general manufacturing and service operations
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Fluency required in Korean and English (both spoken and written)
The ability to lift, move, or adjust general test equipment, boxes, supplies, materials or products weighing up to 50 pounds using proper materials handling equipment and procedures
High level of visual acuity, numeric/character distinction and moderate color distinction for accurate test equipment operation, for information analysis and error recognition
High hand/finger dexterity with fine motor coordination skills to perform electronic component repair work
Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids representative and commonly associated with electronic component test, assembly and repair work including test equipment, testing devices, technician hand tools, cables, etc.; first aid kit is available and prescription safety glasses are required in certain test areas.
15% travel domestic or international required (up to 2 times per year on average)
Additional Preferred Skill Areas and Qualifications:
Understanding of reverse logistics/customer service
Experience in statistical process control / FMEA applications
The ability to operate PC and product test equipment more than 75% of work time in an alternating sedentary and highly mobile position

The Role
The position of the Network Strategy Manager – Fleet is responsible for leading the development of strategic plans and delivery roadmaps for TGE Fleet operations and broader TGE Network operational strategies.
This role will drive the strategy and capital planning processes to ensure that the fleet is standardised, working optimally, maximising organisational efficiencies and service performance.
Beyond Fleet strategy, this position will be required lead on the design and delivery of operational transformation projects and capability to execute the broader network operations strategy. A key responsibility of this role is to maximise network standardisation and optimisation to deliver improvement in network performance, while ensuring the Network is ready to meet the future needs of the business and the customers we serve.
Exercising excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills across Functional and Divisional operational teams within the TGE network, this position is pivotal to enabling long term operational readiness, driving operational efficiencies and customer service delivery outcomes.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead a small team to develop and deliver the overall network fleet strategy for operations, including the development and implementation of a long term plan, in line with customer requirements and broader TGE network development strategy (network, fleet, site).
Strategic development of the fleet model and associated capital planning processes, ensuring the fleet model it is aligned to the organisational objectives, meet the future needs of the business and the markets it serves.
Develop fleet and other network design blueprints and project plans to ensure Network standardisation objectives are met.
Conduct network capacity modelling on a rolling 3 – 5 year timeframe, actively managing the Network Footprint and associated Fleet strategy and Assets to support growth and efficiency
Coordinate with divisional operations managers on supply forecast inputs, identifying service risks and opportunities (latent capacity)
Prepare Strategy and capital planning presentation content for operations & communication.
Support operations team education on Network capability, including transformation project scopes and deliverables, developing fit for purpose tools (process & systems)
Own, govern and maintain the data integrity of all key design inputs to the Network strategy Fleet plan and broader Network strategy as required.
In conjunction with the NOC Planning team, conduct scenario analysis for the supply plan and re-forecasting as required to facilitate operational decision-making and identification of transformation project priorities
Work in a manner that is not harmful to one’s own health and safety and the health and safety of others
