Responsibilities

To support the Accounts team for annual royalties payment processing:

• Updating authors' contacts and payment details
• Sorting royalties by categories
• Screening incoming emails relating to royalty enquiries and provide timely response
• Organizing printed hardcopy royalty statements for authors without email addresses
• Assist in cheque payments
• Carefully arrange for mailings outside SG
• Assist in stock count
• Assist costing on journal budget input to system
• Co-ordinate with freelancer and JPA on the copyediting billings
• AP - matching POs and trade invoices, follow by input entries to system
• Other accounting related assignments

Requirements

• GCE A Level / Diploma or equivalent
• Highly organized and meticulous
• Good written and communication skills to handle authors’ queries
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Minimal supervision
• Work well in a team

Responsibilities

• Handle full spectrum of Accounts Payable
• Process all invoices and payments ensuring compliance to policy
• Reconciliations and prepare schedules
• Observe monthly / annual closing timeline
• Handle GST and withholding taxes
• Liaise with external service providers, banks, colleagues
• Adhoc accounting duties

Requirements

• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
• Minimum 1 to 2 years working experience
• Good written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Highly organized and meticulous
• Minimal supervision
• Work well in a team
