Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for running the Small/Wide Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS/WAXS) facility and the thin film XRD. The role mainly covers instrument management, user support in terms of training, and consultation, to enable a broad user base to use the machines efficiently and safely.

Job Requirements

• PhD in Materials Science, Physics, or a related field.
• Proficient in conducting SAXS/WAXS analysis in transmission and in grazing incidence (GISAXS/GIWAXS). Additional experience related to thin film XRD analysis such as X-ray reflectivity (XRR), crystal orientation mapping and high resolution XRD, are highly beneficial.
• Experience doing in-situ measurements, including but not limited to heating/cooling will be a plus.

THE ROLE
