General Paper (GP) and Integrated Programme (IP) English Teaching Specialist

NIE trained tutors will be the most preferred, although experience in various segments of the industry to help students in tuition classes to learn optimally is possible as well.
We look out for educators who are able to teach well, or are willing to learn different aspects of our innovative curriculum.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Enhance and further develop our General Paper and IP English curriculum through your expertise in material preparation, design, and creation.
2. Take direct charge over illum.e’s lecture content creation and lecture videos/ notes, leading other teachers when necessary.
3. Lead English and General Paper classes, implementing our transformative teaching approach in both online and face-to-face lessons.
4. Spearhead General Paper programs, including holiday initiatives and intensive crash courses, to bolster our comprehensive curriculum offerings.
5. Engage with students on a personalized level, facilitating their learning journeys and illuminating their understanding. This includes providing one-on-one consultations as necessary, to ensure no student is left behind.
6. Embrace additional roles that contribute to illum.e's growth as a reputable educational institute and brand. Your diverse skills will be invaluable in various aspects of our operations.
What ideal candidates can expect:
1. Work with relatively small tuition class sizes, but to be available on standby to assist students who need tutors' assistance outside of regular tuition class timings.

Work Requirements:
- Teach an average of 10-12 2-hour lessons per week
- A passion to mould and nurture students by deliver lessons in adherence to illum.e's curriculum and teaching standards
- Monitor student progresses and maintain good rapport with students
- Participate in various centre programmes, projects and events to aid centre growth
- Able to work 3 weekdays and both weekends, or 1 weekend and 4 weekdays.
- Candidates should ideally be able to work at or travel to the East.
