Roles & Responsibilities:

• Takes charge of Learning & Development (L&D) administration in the company

Learning & Development Administration

• Develop and executive purposeful learning programmes to enhance employees’ L&D experience and close L&D gaps. (e.g. Plan and executive Training Learning Plan for the company, which in turn should drive business productivity and improve employee retention).
• Monitor learning progress of all employees (e.g. oversee learning requests for staff and training registrations for workers; manage training records in Learning Management System)
• Manages regulatory training for staff and workers before expiration
• Process invoices and billings for training and relevant training claims
• Organise and promote internal trainings and employee engagement activities
• Work with Group L&D function (Sembcorp Academy) and external vendors to improve L&D experience for the company
• Assist in reviewing and communicating L&D related policies
• Oversee and manage sponsorship programmes and improve employee retention).

Onboarding Administration

• Facilitate staff orientation on their first day including briefings for new hires
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned in the HR function.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Business / Human Resources or any other relevant disciplines
• Min 3 years of experience, preferably in Construction Industry

Skills & Knowledge:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office such as MS word, Excel and Power Point
• Good knowledge of employment laws & practices
• Basic data management and analysis skill is preferred

About the Role
We currently have two vacancies for Senior Lecturers within our Civil and Construction Engineering School.

This position is for a teaching and research academic to work within the Department of Civil and Construction Engineering, in the School of Engineering at Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia.

The successful candidates will undertake teaching and research activities in areas related to smart urban infrastructure and digital engineering including fields related to transport, construction or geotechnical engineering. The position would require a suitable candidate with experience in areas such as data analytics, machine learning, modelling, design, asset management, remote sensing or digital mapping. The focus application areas may include smart infrastructure including intelligent transport systems, construction, renewable energy infrastructure, and lifelines.

In teaching, the position will contribute to the programs of the Department at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The incumbent will also assume administrative tasks associated with normal teaching duties, including delivery, developing and supporting academic programs and working with the academic team in the development of program change and innovation. The position is also expected to mentor and support students on academic matters, and will also supervise Honours, and Masters by Coursework students.

Qualifications
* Doctoral qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
* Member of relevant professional society
