Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy Development:
- Formulate and execute strategic plans to drive business development and achieve sales targets.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
2. Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and motivation to ensure the team meets or exceeds sales objectives.
3. Sales Planning and Forecasting:
- Develop comprehensive sales plans outlining targets, tactics, and timelines.
- Regularly review and adjust sales forecasts based on market dynamics and team performance.
4. Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
5. Market Expansion:
- Identify and evaluate potential markets for expansion.
- Develop entry strategies and implement plans to penetrate new markets.
6. Product Knowledge and Positioning:
- Stay informed about the company's products/services and industry trends.
- Ensure the sales team is well-versed in product knowledge and effectively communicates value propositions.
7. Sales Performance Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics.
- Implement data-driven strategies to optimize sales processes and improve overall team performance.
8. Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the sales budget.
- Control expenses and allocate resources efficiently to maximize return on investment.
9. Proposal and Contract Negotiation:
- Lead the development of sales proposals and presentations.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure profitable and sustainable contracts.
10. Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: - Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to align business strategies. - Provide feedback from the market to improve products, services, and overall customer experience.
11. Reporting and Analysis: - Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities. - Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
12. Continuous Improvement: - Implement continuous improvement initiatives in sales processes and strategies. - Stay updated on industry best practices and integrate them into the sales approach.
Job Requirement:
- Candidate with relevant business development experience in relevant sector OR product will be considered.
- Candidate with proven track record for the sales & development will be prioritize.
