Pontefract Academies Trust is a cross phase Multi-Academy Trust comprising of nine schools: seven primaries and two 11 – 16 secondary schools. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed Administrative Assistant to join the team at Rookeries Carleton Junior, Infant & Nursery School. The candidate will be responsible for providing an efficient and professional administration service to pupils, staff, visitors, parents and other internal and external enquirers. They will provide general and financial administration support, as well as data input support to the school as required.
The role is 37 hours per week, term time plus 5 days, permanent contract, equating to 195 working days per annum.
Salary: £23500 - 23893 FTE (£20145 - £20482 pro rata)
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person who:
· has a passion for helping pupils thrive and meet their full potential.
· has a friendly manner and can communicate effectively with staff and pupils.
· can work effectively as part of a team but can also work independently using their own initiative.
· has experience of working in a similar specialist area.
