About Us:
X-Golf is Australia's largest indoor golf entertainment venue, and growing rapidly nation-wide we are looking for a new Venue Manager for our venue in North Lakes Queensland!
Our venue combines the established and state of the art X-Golf experience with a brand new Hey Caddy mini golf offering to provide entertainment for all ages all under one roof.
With 6 state-of-the-art golf simulators, 18 holes of newly designed mini golf, a full bar and kitchen, topped off with a high-end audio-visual setup for music and sports, X-Golf & Hey Caddy North Lakes is positioned to be one of the go-to destinations for year-round indoor entertainment.
The Role:
To assist us with the operation and management of this venue (including restaurant and bar) we are actively recruiting a new Venue Manager to build, develop and lead the team to success into the future.
The role will be reporting to and receiving support from the Venue Owner, and will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
• Engaging with the Moreton Bay community and stakeholders including businesses, sporting, school, and disability groups to organise events and special functions.
• Creating a positive work environment and culture through effective leadership of the team
• Working to achieve performance metrics and revenue drivers set by the Venue Owner
• Recruiting, supporting, training, and developing staff to ensure operational excellence in venue.
• Ensuring that rosters are efficiently written and maintained.
• Managing stock levels, ordering, and stocktaking on a regular basis
• Demonstrated skills in planning and organising major functions for a high number of patrons, liaising directly with customers and organisations to proactively manage expectations and requirements.
• Maintaining the Point of Sale (POS) system and ensuring accuracy of data entry
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as OLGR, food safety, and OH&S
• Ability to work with catering staff, chefs, waitstaff and bar stewards to help plan or execute current menus and special events while providing top level leadership.
• Flexible approach to work hours (minimum of 38 hours per week)
• Work closely with customers to ensure satisfactory meals and service.
• Assist with welcoming customers and taking orders for the restaurant and bar.
Benefits and Renumeration
The Venue Manager position will offer depending on skills and experiences, a salary package of $70,000-$80,000 and superannuation at the guarantee (11%) to the fund of your choice.
