Experian Decision Analytics has created an opportunity in the Malaysian office to recruit a Software Engineer to join the Global Product Development Team. 

What you’ll be doing  

• Interacts with the Product Owner/Business Analyst to define, refine, develop, test and deliver against functional requirements 

• Understands and translates functional into technical requirements 

• Works with an architecture team to design the components of the product suite 

• Provides input to the project delivery plan, including sizing and estimation if required, with regards to one’s areas of responsibility 

• Coordinates the work within the boundaries of their teams and project  

• Being accountable for the quality of one’s team and supporting through code review processes and testing strategies as a whole-team approach 

• Implements correct, performant and reliable code on schedule and according to specification 

• Determines code quality and test coverage, and designing and implementing tests to make sure software is built to the highest quality possible 

• Develops and maintains test automation efficiency and effectiveness 

• Understands DevOps practices and processes. Develop and improve operational practices and procedures.  

• Support developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines 

• Ensure close collaboration between Development and Operations, enabling smoother operation between them.  

• Responsible for defect closure and root cause analysis to avoid regressions 

• Drives continual improvement in quality and efficiency, including defect prevention/ root cause analysis, suggesting and adopting improvements to technology and efficiency 

• Collaborates and partners across different departments including support, consulting, product management, and engineering 

• Writes technical documentation for internal or external consumption, for developers of varying skills level

Responsible For: To actively participate in the product development process and collaborate with other development teams, product managers, and product owners in delivering high quality products to clients.

Background
This position will attach to the BI Delivery (Business Unit) of APAC and based in GDC of Cyberjaya.  BI Delivery is the centralized hub that fulfill the orders placed by clients worldwide as well as end clients of business partners of Experian APAC.  The key products delivered from BI delivery are Credit Reports and Search Reports.

The role will report to the Technology Product Owner.

Skills Profile
We need an individual who is passionate and technically sound in the Microsoft .Net technology stack with knowledge in Cloud-Native development principles. The individual must possess at least 3 years of working experience with diverse skills in Agile application development.

As a Development Manager you will be responsible for leading your delivery team, typically consisting of around six [six to eight] developers. You will lead the team in designing, developing and maintaining software programs in according to requirements and specifications, established or defined quality and performance standards, and within delivery timelines. This is achieved through providing technical leadership and guidance, coaching and mentoring, and leading and motivating
