The Positions:

We are seeking 2 Cleaning Assistance to join our team at our Cooinda aged care home, located at 38 Maple Cr LITHGOW NSW 2790

Each candidate will be engaged on a full-time basis (38 hours per week); however, we would consider part-time (a minimum of 30 hours per week) if that were the candidate’s preference.

The proposed commencement date for each successful candidate would be approximately July / August 2024.

The successful candidates will join our dynamic Team.


Key duties and responsibilities include.

*Ensuring all cleaning requirements are met each shift.
*Interacting with the residents in a friendly, helpful, and Positive Manner.
*Perform routine cleaning tasks in resident's rooms, common areas, offices and other designated areas of the facility.
*Ensure high standards of cleanliness and Hygiene is maintained throughout our facility.
*Report and Maintenace issues or concerns to the appropriate department for prompt resolutions.
*Adhere to the Infection control policies and procedures to minimize risk of infection transmission.
*Follow safe work practices and use personal (PPE) as required.
* Collaborate with staff members to support a clean and comfortable living environment for our residents.



The successful candidates will have:

• A relevant qualification or the willingness to undertake on-the-job training.
• A genuine interest for working in aged care.
• An ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
• A capacity to manage a diverse and demanding workload.
• The ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility for shift work including nightshift and weekends.
• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check. Respect will assist each successful candidate to obtain the required certification.

To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.
