Job Description
Verkada is looking for a Sales Development Manager (Marketing) that will hire, develop and train a highly driven and hardworking team of lead qualification professionals! The Marketing Sales Development team is the first interaction with prospective Verkada customers and is key to the success of Verkada.
Our ideal candidate for this role has proven experience in managing, building, and encouraging a team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly/quarterly targets. In addition to delivering feedback to demand generation regarding the quality of leads, you’ll help maintain open lines of communication with the sales organisation at Verkada.
Responsibilities
Hire, mentor, and lead a team of Sales Development Reps (Marketing)
Develop the sales, product, and industry skills of each team member
Empower team members through creative incentives
Regularly report on Team/Individual Results - lead quantity, quality, and revenue
Work closely with our Growth Marketing team
Work closely with Sales Managers and AEs to ensure lead quality/quantity and accurate follow-up.
Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency, and productivity.
Requirements
2+ years in Software sales, preferably in SaaS/Customer Support/Sales/CRM software
1+ years of management experience, with a consistent track record of building a great working environment
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University
Consistent results of 100%+ of quota achievement as an individual contributor
Outstanding time management and communication skills
Solid understanding of sales tools (Salesforce, Outreach, Zoominfo, etc.)
Experience leading and improving critical metrics
Experience running successful 1 on 1's and weekly/monthly team meetings
Experience handling individual and management expectations (Managing Up)
