Assistant Manager (US based)
Job Description
· Manage all phases of engineering projects,including manpower planning, financial budgeting and tracking of expenditure, and ensuring project is delivered in a cost effective, timely and safe manner.
· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including project schedules.
· Liaise and coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure compliance to contractual, regulatory, and project specifications.
· Organize and lead meetings with stakeholders including customers to provide regular updates on the progress of projects (e.g. status, risks) and its deliverables.
· Regular check and review on the development and milestones of the projects.
· Identify roadblocks, drive actions and lead the project team to resolve issues to ensure projects stay on schedule.
· Act as a bridge between upper management and the project team to update the project progress.
· Develop work packages, if necessary.
· Any other ad-hoc duties, if required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor or Masters in any engineering related discipline, with at least 5 years of project management experience in in the aerospace industry.
- Proven track record of executing multiple successful projects will be advantageous.
· Holds a valid Aircraft Maintenance Licence (e.g. CAAS, CAAM, FAA), with experience as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer.
- Be fluent in both written and spoken English, as the position requires the use of English as the common language medium.
- Strong business acumen and results driven.
· Leadership experience will be advantageous.
· Candidate must be willing to relocate to the United States (San Antonio) in the near future (e.g. 6 months to 1 year). He/she will work in Singapore before relocation on local terms.
