Summary:
Set up stacker and stack printed papers on pallets. Responsible for maintenance and cleaning of press and press room.
What you will do:
Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or stackers to be moved and set-up
Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets by hand
Operates hand pallet jack, electronic truck, and/or forklift to move articles before or after printing
Monitors stackers for proper operation; stops machine and attempts to correct malfunctions; notifies supervisor of malfunction if necessary
Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist
Conveys materials between department's storage areas, loading areas, and printing presses
Assist press crew with make-ready's and wash-ups as directed by the Lead Press Operator
Cleans machines and work area daily
Makes simple adjustments or repairs to equipment. Assist with press maintenance as directed
Completes job forms and other department documents as necessary
Shares responsibility with team / department members for quality of outputs
Maintains neat and orderly department, implementing good housekeeping practices, including dumping all recycle and trash bins in the pressroom
Work towards becoming a Press Operator Level 2+ while learning the machine operation
Perform all press maintenance as needed
This position may be required to work night and weekend work and the ability to work a 12 hour shift
What you will bring:
Ability and willingness to and successfully become pallet jack, electronic truck, and forklift certified if hired
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous production experience preferred

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand; crawl; kneel; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms and requires the ability to frequently required to lift products of up to 50 pounds and move rolls of newsprint over a 12 hour shift

Summary:
The Greeley Tribune newspaper is looking for an experienced journalist to serve as government reporter. This reporter will cover Greeley city government; Weld County government; and Windsor and Johnstown town governments; in addition to general assignments and occasional reporting on state and federal government issues that are most important to Weld County.
This reporter must live in the Greeley area or be willing to relocate without relocation assistance. This is primarily a remote position, but this reporter will be expected to work from the office at least once a week.

Be a strong storyteller who can quickly grasp the meaning of government jargon and the importance of a council decision or a discussion on the dais
Write accurate, easy-to-understand news articles with the public's interest in mind on deadline
Write daily stories on the workings of area governments and produce enterprise stories under the direction of the editor

What you will bring:
Degree in journalism, communication or equivalent experience
Minimum of three years of experience as a reporter, with experience relevant to this job

Understanding of emerging and existing platforms, including web, mobile and print
Readiness to hit the ground running, and to contribute to a positive culture of teamwork and collaboration
Ability to juggle reporting multiple stories at once

Summary:
Prairie Mountain Media (PMM) Account Executives sell PMM’s portfolio of advertising solutions, with a heavy concentration on print and digital initiatives. Candidates in this position are responsible for servicing the territory’s existing accounts while also targeting new business.
Must be in Metro Denver area, prefer Boulder, Broomfield, Larimer or Weld counties.
What you will do:
Deliver against monthly sales goals and pipeline commitments
Drive the relationship from start to finish, including ad scheduling and managing creative assets
Work independently, making sound business decisions related to achieving revenue goals while communicating with your manager each day to discuss strategy, forecasting and other key issues
Strategically prospect for new accounts, conduct needs assessments to determine customer needs, generate ideas and proposals, present recommendations, close the sale and set client expectations

Summary:
Our Prairie Mountain Media facility is in need of motivated and dependable individuals to join our mailroom staff and be a part of a team responsible for inserting and mailing community newspapers across the CO area . You get to work in an innovative, creative, and friendly work environment.
What you will do:
Hand inserting free standing inserts into the inserting machine
Use the shrink wrap machine to wrap pallets
Use pallet jacks to move materials with the mailroom and warehouse
Supply an inserting station “pocket” with approximately 100 inserts at a time
Proper usage of a “jogging” table aligning all inserts perfectly prior to loading a pocket
Work on the bindery machine to load signatures
Loading mail pieces into the mail machine and gathering address pieces off of the conveyor
Responsible for daily cleanup of the mailroom
