Overview of the role

Brief overview of the role
The Business Development Account Manager will manage a group of existing corporate clients headquartered in Asia and is personally responsible for renewing subscription of Euromonitor’s web-based database and growing revenues across this client base.
In addition, the manager will be responsible for increasing use of our products; promote Euromonitor as a global strategic research partner; proactively build on our understanding of client organisation, strategy and priorities; assist with day-today client queries and training. The successful candidate will have an intelligent and organized approach to client-focused activities, essentially focusing on revenue generation activities, and balancing it with client support and assistance.
The manager will be focused on select industry verticals and is able to engage people at all levels within clients’organization, especially senior executives. This is a proactive, commercially driven role where success is ultimately measured in revenue growth and subscription renewal. He/She must be a confident, self-motivated and collaborative team
player to drive the commercial agenda.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in business, competitive intelligence, consulting, or market research. He/she will possess excellent written and oral communication skills in English and strong analytical, numerical and data manipulation skills. We are looking for motivated self-starters looking to become internal industry or solution experts within our Consulting team and Euromonitor. You will be required to conduct primary and secondary research on industry and company sources; review, query and consolidate research materials from in-country researchers; and prepare complex data sets in Excel and management reports in PowerPoint.
Background in statistics, computer science, applied mathematics or similar field is a key advantage. We are looking for individuals who have interest in innovative ways of data visualization, cleansing data, data science, pattern recognition, artificial intelligence.
