We are seeking passionate and compassionate Speech Pathologists who are eager to continue their clinical journey and have access to ongoing training and support. As a Speech Pathologist, each day will present unique challenges and opportunities. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Providing timely, evidence-based therapy services to children and adults with disabilities within a multidisciplinary team.
Managing a caseload of individuals with complex and varied needs, working collaboratively with customers and families of all ages to identify strengths, skills, and goals.
Utilising assessment tools and methods to evaluate strengths and areas of development, subsequently building care plans and intervention strategies.
Demonstrating flexibility in working across various environments, including care centers, schools, group homes, homes, and online platforms.
An ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology with SPA registration.
Proficiency in strengths-based practice, as well as family and person-centered approaches.
Experience delivering evidence-based therapy to a caseload involving pediatric, adolescent, and adult clients.
Demonstrated ability to independently manage a caseload and fulfill administrative responsibilities efficiently and effectively.
Familiarity with the NDIS framework and experience working within a fee-for-service model is desired.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as active listening abilities.
NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain one).
NSW Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
Current NSW driver's license with access to own vehicle (reimbursement for kilometers is available).
