Job Roles and Responsibilities:

The Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for conducting regular audits on our client’s IT systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT systems, network security, and audit procedures. Job responsibilities include:

Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing

• Perform Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) to across multiple clients and industries to identify potential security vulnerabilities, in support of our client's security requirements to test and validate the effectiveness of their IT security posture.
• Supporting remote and onsite operations by employing simulated adversarial threat-based approaches to expose and exploit vulnerabilities to identify weaknesses and to improve the security posture and operational procedures
• Using various testing, social engineering, and penetration testing approaches for vulnerability identification, enumeration, and purposeful exploitation to determine the value and effectiveness of a network, system, or application's security configuration

IT Audit

• Evaluate the effectiveness of clients’ information-processing controls across industries, business process cycles and network platforms.
• Conduct regular IT audits to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
• Identify and assess IT risks and controls, and suggest mitigation strategies.
• Assist in the development of IT audit scope and IT audit procedures.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of IT general controls and recommend improvements.
• Prepare and present reports that reflect audit results and document the proposed process.
• Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards.
• Collaborate with IT staff and management to improve security and efficiency.
• Assist in conducting internal audits and providing necessary certifications.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), OSCE (Offensive Security Certified Expert), CREST or equivalent
• Other professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CISM are preferred.
• Proven experience as an IT auditor or similar role in a cybersecurity environment.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of IT systems, network security, and VAPT, including IT standards and frameworks (e.g., COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001), IT audit methodologies, techniques, and tools.
• Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English.

Job Summary:

The Internal Audit Associate will participate in internal audit or risk management assignments in accordance with the International Professional Practices Framework from the Institute of Internal Auditors. He/ She may also assist in IT audit/ compliance audit/ agreed-upon procedures/ sustainability reporting/ special audits/ ad-hoc reviews as required by the management and/or audit committees of our clients. He/ She will report to the Internal Audit Senior or Manager.

The Internal Audit Associate will perform numerous responsibilities including the following:

• Assist in developing detailed objectives and work procedures for each project together with direct supervisor.
• Executes relevant internal audit or applicable procedures.
• Conducts interviews, reviews documents and prepares working papers.
• Identify, develop and document issues and recommendations.
• Perform government-related agreed-upon procedure engagement.
• Assist in enterprise risk management.
• Assist in risk consulting engagements.
• Assist in sustainability reporting engagements.
• Discusses key issues with appropriate process owners and management personnel.

Requirements:

The internal auditor will participate in audit and sustainability reporting assignments in accordance with International Standards for Professional Practices. He/ She may also assist in risk management /special audits / ad-hoc reviews as required by the audit committees of our clients. He/ She will report to the Internal Audit Manager.

The Senior Internal Auditor will perform numerous responsibilities including the following:

• Assist in sustainability reporting engagements by conceptualising, planning and drafting sustainability report
• Manages update of International Sustainability Indexes such as GRI standards
• Develops detailed objectives and work procedures for each project together with direct supervisor.
• Executes relevant audit or applicable procedures.
• Conducts interviews, reviews document and prepares working papers.
• Identifies, develop and document issues and recommendations.
• Assist in enterprise risk management programs.
• Assist in risk consulting engagements.
• Discusses key issues with appropriate process owners and management personnel.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experiences especially in sustainability reporting/CSR to apply for the position.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for the candidate who is keen to explore both external and internal audit. The candidate will have exposure to learn different aspects of internal audit like conducting risk assessments and identifying controls in place to mitigate identified risks. The candidate will also get to involve in an external audit engagement from planning to completion, including conducting a review of audit working papers, financial statements, and supervisory duties.

Job Role and Responsibility for Internal Audit

• Participate in audit or risk management assignments in accordance with International Standards for Professional Practices to facilitate and drive business activities in a risk-controlled environment.
• Plan, organize, and carry out the internal audit activities which include independent examination of the organization’s financial and information systems, operational records, processes, policies, procedures, and standards.
• Review the integrity of operational data and compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Identify and communicate business inefficiencies, internal control weaknesses, or operational issues observed during audits and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Making recommendations on reviewed procedures and systems.
• Document work performed and prepare reports on findings and recommendations.
• Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.

Job Role and Responsibility for External Audit

• Proficient in the Crowe Horwath Audit Methodology and Caseware Auditing Software;
• Plan and coordinate the various phases of the audit, such as staff requirements, logistics, audit programs, and time budgets;
• Schedule, delegate and review the work of the engagement team, support on-the-job training, and evaluate their performance on a timely basis;
• Exercise professional scepticism to review work submitted by the engagement team to identify accounting and auditing issues, and to ensure good documentation standards;
• Ensure timely completion and wrap-up to include documenting issues for technical consultations, scheduling reviews of files and financial statements, coordinating closing meetings with clients, clearing review points;
• Update and consult the Audit Manager on the progress of the audit and report significant audit findings on a timely basis, perform research to suggest ways to resolve issues;
• Review financial statements and ensure compliance with disclosure and regulatory requirements;

Job Requirement:

• Degree in Accountancy or related discipline and/or equivalent professional qualification, with at least 2 years relevant work experience in a public accounting firm;
• Possess strong knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, including, but not limited to, Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSA) and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and the ability to apply technical knowledge to a portfolio of clients;
• Strong organization and multi-tasking skills, including the ability to prioritize various tasks on hand, meet deadlines and commitments;
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal), including good report writing skills;
• Ability to learn fast and work within tight timelines and in a fast-paced environment;
• Possess a recognized professional membership or are in the process of obtaining one.
