Job Description

I Transfer Pricing

· Support the Partner and Manager teams in servicing clients in relation to their tax needs in the area of transfer pricing. Our transfer pricing services include:

o Design of cross border supply chain models

o Implement pricing policies from a commercial perspective

The Tax Associate supports the Tax function in the provision of Income Tax, Goods and Services Tax and Transfer Pricing services to clients. Our services include both compliance as well as advisory services.

Job Description

I Transfer Pricing

· Support the Partner and Manager teams in servicing clients in relation to their tax needs in the area of transfer pricing. Our transfer pricing services include:

o Design of cross border supply chain models

o Implement pricing policies from a commercial perspective

o Perform industry specific economic analysis

o Support clients in handling their tax controversies

· Develop strong relationships with our clients and with our colleagues, both internally and across the Baker Tilly International Network.

· Work with colleagues internally and across the globe in relation to proposals and delivering on tax projects in transfer pricing.

· Provide support in relation to marketing activities such as seminars, webcasts and business development collaterals.

II GST

· Support the Partner and Manager teams in servicing clients in relation to their tax needs in the area of GST. Our GST services include:

o Advise clients on the GST implications and applicable treatment of their business transactions (e.g., new business arrangements, cross border transactions)

o Assist clients with the application of GST registration, exemption and GST schemes

o Assist clients with the review and e-filing of GST returns

o Conduct GST health check reviews, GST due diligence reviews, Assisted Self Help Kit (ASK) reviews, Assisted Compliance Assurance Programme (ACAP) reviews

o Assist clients in managing IRAS GST audits/investigations

o Assist clients in seeking GST rulings from IRAS

· Develop strong relationships with our clients and with our colleagues, both internally and across the Baker Tilly International Network.

o Assist clients with the preparation, review and e-filing of their income tax returns (and organising the necessary information request flows, documentation and research needs)

o Assisting in fulfilment of clients’ income tax advisory needs in relation to their business transactions (e.g., new business arrangements, cross border transactions)

o Assist in fulfilment of clients’ income tax advisory needs on tax structuring matters and conducting income tax due diligence reviews (typically in M&A situations)

o Assist clients in managing IRAS queries/audits

o Assist clients in seeking income tax rulings/clarifications from IRAS

· Develop strong relationships with our clients and with our colleagues, both internally and across the Baker Tilly International Network.

· Work with colleagues internally and across the globe in relation to proposals and delivering on tax projects.

As part of our growing Governance and Risk Advisory Practice, we are inviting highly talented individuals to join us as a Manager-(Forensics Services) to deliver Forensics/Investigation and Litigation Support services to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Frontline role conducting and leading forensic audits and producing quality forensic reports for our clients

• Performing analytical procedures on data sets and auditing complex business processes to identify, report anomalies and recommending performance enhancements suggestions.

• Develop an in-depth understanding of the function to be audited, summarize findings and identify improvements.

• Play a key role in managing and supporting operational forensics audits from start to finish.

• Assisting and providing support for practice development activities.

Requirements

• Recognised university degree or equivalent experience.

• CPA, CA, CIA or CFE preferred but not a must.
