Job Scope:
The Procurement Executive for purchasing is responsible for
planning and purchasing of raw materials in order to ensure smooth
supply of materials from supplier to production.
Key Responsibilities:
- To prepare material requisition, purchase order and other related
documents
- To source for alternative and new supplier
- To monitor the raw material prices
- Maintain close liaison with suppliers on production capacities,
readiness, quality issues and material supply
- Liaising with supplier for shipment / delivery schedule
- To update and maintain proper purchasing files and records in
both hard copy and ERP system
- Special related duties
Competency:
- Related product knowledge
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all level of
people
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English Language
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle ERP system
- Problem solving skills
Qualification:
Related first degree/diploma preferably in the area of business
administration or manufacturing or equivalent qualification with
relevant experience
Experience:
Previous experience for at least 4 years preferably in purchasing or
related field
