What The Role Is
We are looking for a motivated and technically competent engineer to join our team in managing building maintenance and construction upgrading projects for residential blocks, flats, and car parks. You will play a key role in delivering quality outcomes for residents and stakeholders across the full project lifecycle.
What You Will Be Working On
- Lead or work alongside consultants and contractors in the management of building maintenance, repairs, improvement works, and/or construction upgrading projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, external consultants, and contractors throughout the full project lifecycle, and engage with residents, stakeholders, and relevant authorities
- Investigate and resolve maintenance issues, and provide technical advisory services
- Prepare and oversee tender documentation, review and evaluate proposals, and identify potential project risks and opportunities
- Conduct site and contract management activities, including regular quality, safety, and housekeeping inspections to ensure strict adherence to specifications and protocols
- Carry out detailed handover inspections to verify workmanship quality prior to final acceptance
- Evaluate and recommend innovative technologies and materials for future applications
- Manage post-construction feedback and analyse data to derive insights that enhance work processes and service delivery
What We Are Looking For
- Background in Civil or Structural Engineering, preferably with recognition by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
- Meticulous, independent, and professional, with a pleasant disposition
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Sound technical and project management knowledge
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve on-site challenges
Successful candidates will be offered a 1+1 year contract.
