Good learning, but career path can be foggy
Pros: You'll definitely pick up a ton of skills, especially as a Data Analyst. There's always new tech to learn in this ad tech space. The hybrid work model is also a decent perk, giving some flexibility.
Cons: Career growth here felt pretty undefined for me. There wasn't a clear path to move up, even with all the learning. Promotions were slow, and sometimes it felt like you had to jump to a different company to really advance in analytics roles.
Advice to Management: Establish clearer career progression frameworks for individual contributors, especially for roles like Data Analyst. Show us the steps to get to the next level, and make promotions more transparent.

Okay Culture, Needs More Support
Pros: The teams themselves are pretty solid. I've learned a ton about digital marketing tactics from my peers. The hybrid work model in the New York City office is decent, giving some flexibility.
Cons: There's often a lack of recognition for hard work, especially for marketing analyst roles. It feels like a high-pressure environment sometimes, which can hurt morale. Communication between departments isn't always smooth.
Advice to Management: Focus on celebrating team wins more often. Improve cross-departmental transparency to reduce silos and stress.

Okay Culture, Slow Career Path for Data Roles
Pros: The team collaboration is a real plus; I've learned a ton from my peers on various data projects. Also, the hybrid model working from the San Francisco office a couple days a week is really nice for work-life balance.
Cons: Career growth for data roles, specifically as a Data Analyst, feels pretty stagnant here. There aren't many clear promotion paths, and you often have to really push to take on more senior work. It's tough to see a long-term future here if you're focused on rapid advancement.
Advice to Management: Seriously consider implementing clearer career progression frameworks for individual contributors, especially within the data analytics team. Provide more opportunities for skill development and internal leadership for growth.

Pay is Okay, Benefits Need Work
Pros: The base salary for a Data Analyst in the New York City office was pretty fair. They do offer a good 401k match, which is always nice for planning retirement.
Cons: Health insurance options aren't great, with really high deductibles. It feels like the pay for specialized ad tech industry roles here isn't keeping up with market rates, especially for remote flexibility, even for solid performers.
Advice to Management: Re-evaluate the health insurance offerings and ensure compensation for key roles stays competitive with the broader ad tech market.

Fast-paced but job security is a real concern
Pros: I got to work on some really cool space tech projects as an Aerospace Engineer. The team in the Hawthorne, CA office was smart and dedicated. Good learning opportunities if you can keep up.
Cons: Layoffs feel like they're always around the corner, especially for newer hires. It creates a pretty stressful environment, not great for long-term career planning. Management often changes direction, impacting ongoing rocket development projects.
Advice to Management: Try to be more transparent about the company's financial health and future plans. Employees need more stability and less uncertainty about their positions.

Stable enough for a tech gig
Pros: Job security here is pretty solid, especially for core data analytics roles. Even with market changes, it felt like my team at this mid-sized tech company was always busy with projects. I wasn't worried about layoffs often.
Cons: Promotions and career growth can feel a bit slow, which makes you wonder about your long-term place. There's also some shifting priorities in the data department, which can feel unsettling at times for a Data Analyst.
Advice to Management: Try to communicate future growth paths more clearly for individual contributors, especially in data analytics. This would help with long-term retention.
