Stable, but you're a number in a big resort
Pros: Being an integrated resort in the Singapore tourism sector, Resorts World Sentosa offers pretty solid job security. There's always a need for onsite staff like Hospitality Associates, even with economic shifts. It's a big company, so it feels stable.
Cons: Still, the hospitality industry can be unpredictable, especially with global events. There are often departmental reshuffles, which can make you feel a bit uneasy. You're definitely a small part of a very large machine here.
Advice to Management: Try to communicate changes, especially departmental shifts, more clearly and with more notice. Recognizing individual contributions in such a large corporation would also boost morale for frontline staff.

Decent Perks, But Base Salary's a Squeeze
Pros: You do get some solid perks like discounts on resort attractions and F&B, which is nice if you're working onsite in Singapore. The health benefits package is decent for Hotel Operations Assistant roles, better than some smaller places I've worked.
Cons: However, the base salary isn't really competitive, especially for the amount of work we put in. Overtime can be an issue; sometimes it feels like it's expected without proper compensation, which is tough for entry-level staff. Don't expect big bonuses either.
Advice to Management: Management should seriously look at increasing base salaries for frontline operational staff. Fair compensation for hours worked, including overtime, would make a huge difference in morale and retention.

Fixed Shifts, Not Much Wiggle Room
Pros: The team's pretty solid, which helps when you're always onsite. It's a big integrated resort, so there's always something happening.
Cons: Work flexibility isn't really a thing here. As a Guest Services Associate, you're on fixed shifts, which makes planning personal stuff tough.
Advice to Management: Try to offer more flexibility with shift scheduling. It would make a huge difference for people working in this demanding tourism industry.
