Pros: Job security is a major plus here. As an Investment Analyst in the Singapore office, I never worried about sudden layoffs, unlike some peers in other firms. It's a big, well-established corporate environment, almost like a sovereign wealth fund, which helps a lot.
Cons: Career growth can feel a bit slow and structured. Sometimes it feels like you're stuck in a specific lane, and internal mobility isn't always super clear. It's not the place for rapid promotions.
Advice to Management: Consider clearer pathways for internal advancement, especially for mid-level professionals. It would really boost morale and retention.

Leadership can be a mixed bag here
Pros: As an Investment Analyst, I learned a ton about global markets. The firm's reputation in private equity opens doors. You get to work on some really interesting deals in the Singapore office.
Cons: Senior management often seems out of touch with daily operations. It feels like they don't really listen to feedback from more junior investment roles. The communication from the top isn't always clear.

Decent Place, But Culture Can Be Stiff
Pros: As an Investment Analyst, you get incredible exposure to the global investment industry, especially in private equity. It's a very stable, large investment firm with good job security for finance professionals in Singapore.
Cons: The corporate culture can be quite hierarchical and formal, which sometimes slows down innovation. There's not always a lot of work flexibility, and the vibe in the Singapore office can feel a bit traditional.
Advice to Management: Encourage more agile decision-making processes and foster a slightly less hierarchical environment to boost team engagement. A bit more work flexibility would also be great.
