Leadership Needs Better Communication, But It's Okay
Pros: I've learned a lot about global network infrastructure here. As a Network Engineer, there are always complex projects to tackle. The team is usually solid, and we support each other well, which helps a lot with problem-solving.
Cons: Leadership often changes direction without much warning. It's tough to get clear feedback or understand the bigger picture sometimes. Remote from Chennai, I felt a bit disconnected from key strategic decisions due to this lack of transparency.
Advice to Management: Focus on consistent and clear communication across all levels. Explain the 'why' behind major decisions to employees, especially for those working remotely. Investing in better leadership training for mid-level managers would also help a lot.

Decent Flexibility for Network Engineers, Some Roadblocks
Pros: I really appreciate the hybrid model; it's a solid perk for us in the Mumbai office. As a Network Engineer, I get to work from home a couple of days a week, which helps with the long commute. They do try to offer some flexible hours.
Cons: While the WFH option is technically there, getting consistent approvals can be a headache sometimes. There's not much flexibility if you're needed for critical network infrastructure projects; you're often expected to be onsite. It's not truly flexible for all telecom roles.
Advice to Management: Streamline the approval process for remote work and ensure flexibility isn't just on paper for critical telecom roles. Support team leads in implementing hybrid effectively and consistently across departments.

Culture is okay, some good, some bad
Pros: As a Network Engineer, there's a lot to learn in the telecom sector. The job security is solid for a big tech company like this. You get decent benefits too, which is nice.
Cons: The company culture can be a bit old-fashioned; innovation feels slow in the Pune, India office. Sometimes it feels like there are too many layers of management, which slows things down. Work-life balance isn't always great, especially with project deadlines.
Advice to Management: Managers should really focus on modernizing the approach to projects and encouraging more open feedback. It would help a lot with employee engagement across various IT services roles.
