Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient
Product Sales Specialist–Enterprise Voice to drive the sales and adoption of
Tata Communications’ UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service) solutions。 The ideal candidate will combine strong product knowledge, consultative selling skills, and deep expertise in voice technologies to engage enterprise customers, respond to large RFPs, and successfully close complex deals。
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Drive revenue growth by selling UCaaS and enterprise voice solutions to large enterprises and multinational customers
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across target industries
- Deliver compelling product presentations, demos, and value propositions tailored to customer needs
- Engage with key stakeholders (CXOs, IT heads, procurement teams) to influence buying decisions
Solutioning & Product Expertise
- Pitch and position Tata Communications UCaaS portfolio including cloud calling, collaboration, and managed voice services
- Understand customer communication challenges and design customized voice/UC solutions
- Collaborate with product, pre-sales, and engineering teams to build scalable and competitive proposals
RFP & Deal Management
- Lead and manage responses to large and complex RFPs/RFIs/RFQs
- Develop commercial proposals, pricing strategies, and solution documentation
- Drive deal closure by managing negotiations, contracts, and internal approvals
Customer Engagement
- Build strong relationships with enterprise customers and partners
- Ensure high-quality customer interactions and consultative engagement throughout the sales cycle
- Act as a trusted advisor on enterprise communication transformation
Required Skills & Expertise
Technical Knowledge
- Strong understanding of voice network architecture, including:
- SIP, VoIP, PSTN, SBCs, codecs
- Call routing, interconnects, and voice quality optimization
- Knowledge of international and domestic voice ecosystems
- Familiarity with cloud communication platforms and UCaaS solutions
- Understanding of telecom infrastructure, carrier networks, and voice regulations
Regional & Regulatory Knowledge
- Knowledge of domestic voice services and telecom regulations in ASEAN countries is highly desirable
- Understanding of compliance, numbering plans, and regulatory frameworks for voice services
Sales & Commercial Skills
- Proven ability to sell complex enterprise telecom or UCaaS solutions
- Strong experience in handling large enterprise deals and long sales cycles
- Expertise in RFP management and deal closure
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Customer Handling
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
- Customer-focused mindset with a consultative sales approach
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Telecommunications, IT, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 10–15 years of experience in enterprise sales, preferably in telecom, voice, or UCaaS domains
- Prior experience with global carriers, telecom providers, or cloud communications companies preferred
