Pros: I really appreciated the **hybrid work** setup; it was a big plus for me. Getting those **WFH days** helped manage my life outside of work a lot. Also, the PTO policy is solid, which is nice.
Cons: The biggest issue is the unpredictable workload, especially as a **Software Engineer**. Nearing a release for our **industrial software** products often meant 50+ hour weeks. It really eats into your personal time then. The **Lake Forest office** vibe can change a lot depending on who's in.
Advice to Management: Management should really try to smooth out the project peaks and valleys. Better resource allocation could help avoid those crazy crunch times. Protect the **work-life balance** they advertise for their **engineering teams**.
