Summary of This Role

Analyzes business problems to be solved with automated systems. Formulates and defines automated systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that meet user requirements and are within stated sizing estimates. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit design, assists in integration and acceptance testing, where necessary; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Typical Day in the Life of the Role

This role is a  Level 1/Level 2 support team in various products, so there is no set schedule for the day and spends most of the day multitasking between competing priorities. 

What Part Will You Play?

• Works on multiple simple projects and programs from a business solution and design perspective, participates in drafting solutions documentation, in collaboration with QA resource, developers and technical teams.

• Maintains knowledge in company platforms and learns to create alternative solutions. This includes product enhancement analysis and design, supporting and contributing functional testing approach, actual testing and validating as necessary.

• Participates in development of product enhancements as part of client projects, following the requirements to functionality which must be designed and developed in a method that can be re-used by technology.

• Submits projects for Web Product Analyst Specialist review/consideration of risk/impact for changes, participate in identifying all functional components affected, learns to estimate Solution effort and, helps to coordinate estimates across all relevant parties.

• Conducts analysis on simple to medium problems, supports issue/problem resolution, implementation, notification, and post-implementation support to minimize client impact. Provides issue support to development and production support teams.

About the role:

You will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating port operations for shipping companies which includes liaising with ship captains, port authorities and clients to ensure smooth vessel arrivals and departures and handling appropriate documentation, customs clearance, acting as a main point of contact and liaising with relevant parties.

- Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar role and/or within the shipping industry, however this is not essential as full training will be provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Role: The Video Editor is responsible for managing the video editing team and creating the final cut by assembling the raw recorded materials and other files.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with other production teams to understand requirements and communicate the intended creative vision for production.
• Digitally cut all the files and puts them in a narrative sequence that follows that script and screenplay - refining the edited footages based on inputs from the creative leadership teams and to do all final checks of the video formats and backups to ensure all videos are saved.
• Be proficient in other areas of video editing - colour grading where required to digitally manipulate and correct the colours in the footages to accentuate the visual elements in the footages or online editing.
• The working environment is primarily indoors in a video editing studio; however, he may be required to travel depending on the production requirements.
• Be proficient in using more than 1 video editing software.
• Maintain a good rapport with his team and be able to provide creative direction during the video editing process.
• Be attentive and diligent in the storage and editing of the various versions of content.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

• Diploma in Film, Sound & Video or its equivalent.
• Experience on non-linear editing system.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Good understanding of TV production and practical/current knowledge of non-linear editing.
• Sound knowledge of file and video formats and mastering techniques.
• Able to suggest alternative production techniques to optimize equipment usage.
• Creative, technically inclined and able to work well under pressure.
• Be prepared to work irregular shift hours and public holidays.

The Role

As a part of the product team at TripStack, your primary responsibility will be to support the Product team as the Web Connection SME. You will work with stakeholders, clients and scrum teams to make sure the end product meets business requirements and aligns with overall business goals.    

Responsibilities -

• Define product goals and translate them into features
• Collect feedback from end users and stakeholders
• Ensure technical teams follow product defined guidelines and processes
• Work directly with PMs, EMs and TLs to oversee product development
• Create and managing the web connections product backlog and ensure the backlog is communicated to all teams
• Attend sprint ceremonies, retros and grooming sessions as the product SME
• Help to determine acceptance criteria and testing use cases with QA
• Establish product requirements and user expectations with the Scrum team
• Scope features, define value propositions, and identify success metrics

• Closely oversee the technical integration of web connections and understand the architecture behind the scenes
• Help to keep internal technical teams accountable for quality output and product delivery

• Represent the voice of the end consumer throughout the development process

• Always have an eye on profitability, unit economics and uptime 
• Monitor traffic/sales received from clients always questioning discrepancies

Desired Skills and Experience -

• 4+ years of well-rounded travel industry experience (with focus on LCC carriers)
• Strategic thinker with critical decision making skills
• Strong experience in data-backed decision making/statistics/market research
• Output and delivery driven; experience working under pressure in a fast-paced role with significant context switching
• Passion for problem solving and root cause analysis
• Team player 
• The ability to dig in deep. Ability to find the balance between user needs and business goals while questioning and validating assumptions along the way
• Previous experience in development or QA roles [an asset]
