• Utilize analytics and drive self-service analytics of people leaders to measure the effectiveness of people transformation initiatives and provide data-driven insights for improvement
• Project manage Operations initiative, liaison with multiple stakeholders and participate in continual improvement activities.
• Participate in strategic planning activities and ensure key improvement projects are deployed and tracked.
• Assess strengths, bottlenecks, and pain points in manufacturing processes and introduce corrective actions or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish governance structures suited for manufacturing programs, including operations steering committees, quality gate reviews, and escalation mechanisms.

The Project Manager is accountable for delivering projects that support the plant’s Compelling Business Need (CBN) targets, including zero safety incidents, zero quality losses, cost savings, efficiency improvement, 100% customer service level, and strong employee engagement.

The role leads projects end-to-end, from concept to commissioning, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in scope, while leveraging the Manufacturing Operating System (MOS) to drive disciplined execution and continuous improvement.

The Project Manager works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure measurable operational impact and continuously develops strong leadership capabilities to support sustainable plant performance.

Safety Health and Environment:

• Drives Safety Health and Environment culture through role modelling behaviors.  Responsible for Safety Health and Environment requirements and legislation implementation and ensures compliance to legal and corporate standards & policies in own projects and installations as an example LOTOTO – Lock Out Tag Out Test Out, permit to work, hazard work permits, behavioral observation safety, auditing and process isolations.
• Responsible to ensure that ergonomics and SHE – Safety, Health & Environment risks are mitigated or eliminated in own projects
• Managing contractors in the work area, preparing permits and reviewing risk assessments and method statements.

Quality:

• Drives Quality culture through role modelling behaviors.  Responsible for Quality requirements and legislation implementation and ensure compliance to legal and corporate standards & policies in own projects
• Ensures project designs and execution includes Good Manufacturing Processes including Sanitary Design rules and new Manufacturing Operating System - MOS Standards

Delivery & Cost:

Project Planning:

• Responsible for pre-engineering scoping, costing and capital expenditure request document preparation using the appropriate standards, processes and procedures aligned with IM – Initiative Management pillar

Communication:

• Giving regular stakeholder updates on project progress.
• Engaging and communicating with all relevant associates through the whole lifecycle of the project to ensure that the project deliverables meets all practical requirements (maintenance, operation, training, etc)

Project Management & Execution:

• Producing tender documents for suppliers to ensure competitive bidding on project works and working with central procurement to get contracts in place for orders.
• Preparing and issuing relevant documentation such as drawings, cable schedules, commissioning documents, equipment schedules, FAT – Factory Acceptance Check, SAT – Systems Acceptance Test, S&H – Safety and Health checklists, risk assessments.
• Working with the software engineers to develop a URS – User Request Specification for the process installation and review FDS – Functional Development Specification.
• Management of orders through the use of SAP, from raising PO’s – Purchase Orders, issuing to suppliers, receipting and checking invoice discrepancies.
• Managing cost versus budget using the appropriate standards to report actual, commitment, and remaining budget spend on a monthly basis.

Project Close-Out:

• Commission the installation with the project team and suppliers and ensure full snag tracking and close out through commissioning, qualification and verification.
• Ensure relevant handover documentation is in place such as OEM – Original Equipment Manufacturers manuals, training documents and risk assessments.
• Create appropriate training material with the use of the SME - Subject Matter Experts, Training Coordinators and the Organizational pillar

• Manage the full life cycle of ICT-related scopes in data center build, expansion, or upgrade projects.
• Create and maintain project schedules, procurement plans, and progress reporting for ICT workstreams.
• Coordinate with contractors, system integrators, network teams, and equipment vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare project documentation including method statements, engineering submittals, testing plans, and handover packages.
• Oversee design reviews and technical compliance for:
  • Structured cabling systems (fiber & copper)
  • Network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, switching, routing)
  • Server/compute & storage readiness
  • Racks, patch panels, cable containment & labeling standards
  • Data center interconnect (DCI) solutions
  • Migration and cutover planning
• Ensure adherence to key standards and guidelines such as TIA-942, BICSI, ISO/IEC 11801, and Uptime Tier requirements.
• Evaluate equipment specifications, technical submissions, and shop drawings.
• Conduct inspections and quality verification for all ICT installations.
• Lead testing and commissioning activities including:
  • Fiber OTDR & power meter testing
  • Copper certification (Fluke, etc.)
  • Network equipment validation
  • Integration testing with ELV & DCIM systems
• Support Integrated System Testing (IST) for the data center.
• Act as the primary ICT technical lead for internal teams, clients, consultants, and external partners.
• Provide technical guidance and solution recommendations during design, construction, and commissioning.
• Manage vendor performance, procurement timelines, and material approvals.

• Lead end-to-end project management of ELV scopes within data center construction or upgrade projects.
• Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and budgets.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate execution.
• Prepare project documentation including progress reports, method statements, risk assessments, and handover packages.
• Oversee design reviews, system integration, and compliance for all ELV systems (BMS, CCTV, ACS, FAS, PA, structured cabling, monitoring systems).
• Ensure adherence to international and local data center standards (e.g., TIA-942, Uptime Institute, ISO/IEC standards).
• Evaluate technical submissions, shop drawings, and engineering designs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site during installation and commissioning.
• Ensure all ELV installations meet regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and safety standards.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and acceptance tests (FAT, SAT, IST).
• Lead risk assessments and enforce compliance with HSE policies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for ELV-related project matters.
• Manage client expectations and provide technical guidance throughout project phases.
• Liaise with procurement teams for vendor evaluation, material selection, and technical approvals.
