* Organize and oversee the process of 4wd light commercial vehicle upgrade are getting according to Vehicle Standard Australian Design Rule

* Design and optimizing mechanical systems integral to vehicles, such as engines, transmissions, and chassis components during the process of upgrade.
* Establish and oversee the quality of 4wd light commercial vehicle upgrades and maintenance.

* Design light commercial vehicle modified components, test and prepare for manufacturing depending on clients requirements
* Perform 4wd light commercial vehicle modification and upgrade for mining and government fleets and ensure that ready for registration
* Plan maintenance for both Government and Mining Light commercial vehicle upgrade as per manufacture specified interval.
* Oversee and control quality of workshop mechanical, electrical and modification standard

Qualifications and Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Production/Process Engineer
* Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably in [industry/sector].

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role which is part of the Supply Chain will be responsible for maintaining and improving existing automation capabilities, as well as developing a team of automation and maintenance technicians under the incumbent's charge.

Responsibilities

• Support automation maintenance team in performing regular preventive/corrective/ predictive /conditions based / ad hoc / reliability centred based maintenance on storage systems, equipment, and packaging machines that would ensure optimal operation with minimal disruption to supply chain's operation.
• Support Automation Maintenance Lead on complex diagnostics and repair malfunctioning complex logistics and packaging equipment.
• Support installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of storage systems and packaging equipment in project phase as team representative.
• Support automation team in maintaining industrial control systems for automated equipment ( Software / hardware)
• Deep Dive and Determine root causes of failures using statistical methods and recommend changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods.
• Provide engineering support for the modifications of robotic and automation systems.
• Work closely with operations and automation teams to ensure that all automation equipment and processes meet safety standards and comply with company policies.
• Support in prepare reports about system performance and breakdowns from technicians, for management.
• To be able to support Automation Maintenance Lead and technicians in identifying and resolving process related issues.
• Work with Team to formulate work instructions / safety risk assessment / Continuous improvement projects.
• Ability to calculate and identify bottlenecks in process flow to prevent bottlenecks and formulate backup plans with the operations team as a preventive measure.
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor Degree is preferable
• Major in Mechanical or Mechatronics or Automation Control
• 3 years'+ working experience in Integrator/ automation equipment manufacture/ warehouse automation project. Or 5 years+ after service experience in automation project
• Familiar with AutoCAD
• Familiar with devices in automation
• Experience in automation control products such as Siemens IPC, PLC, HMI, SCADA, TIA portal, Various drives and Software hardware.
• Able to communicate with oversea IT Online support, Hotline Software Engineers in UK, Australia, Italy and understand the steps to follow up during the troubleshooting.
