What you'll do:

As a Business Assurance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of our client's operations in the APAC region. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate and timely consolidated financial reports. You will also drive key accounting discussions across the region, oversee general ledger activities for various entities, act as a focal point for audit requirements, support various accounting operations, streamline systems, liaise with external parties, and establish updated accounting policies. What you bring:

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This position within the Business Risk Management department is responsible to perform the Monitoring & Assurance (M&A) reviews in accordance with the M&A framework with a set of globally aligned methodologies, as well as location specific reviews.

• Perform in-depth project analysis and provide recommendations based on findings
• Provide analysis, resolutions, and recommendations for moderately complex process improvements and technical issues through existing technical procedures and methodologies
• Support the Team Lead/Manager in handling escalations and managing disputes related to project financials
• Maintains and prepares SOP/DTP of current processes and the incorporate documentation updates
• Participate in audit-related activities and prepare audit responses
• May support junior members of the team in addressing routine issues within the assigned processes
• Propose alternatives in identified issues and assist in investigating and in resolving common and unusual issues
• Contribute specialized expertise to different assigned projects and may provide key updates to Team Lead and Manager

The Opportunity

There is an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst/Test Analyst to join our teams in either Bristol, Basingstoke or Peterborough. The role will be working with life and pension products, so experience in that sector is required.

You be robustly testing the BαNCS systems from a business perspective and ensure a smooth delivery into production both for production support releases and new Transformation releases by:

• To plan and manage test execution for key areas allocated, involving forming relationship network across teams to achieve successful implementation
• To manage and liaise with senior managers both internal and external
• To ensure the accountabilities of the role are delivered in line with Diligenta's values of acting with integrity and honesty

This role is hybrid, so 3 day p/w would be acceptable. There may be times you have to come in more frequently for workshops or large-scale meetings.

You'll be:

• Test scripting phases are completed to quality, productivity and timeline targets across programmes
• To manage and test the critical and complex areas requiring senior attention
• Defects are managed to resolution including definition of solution amendments and that requirement and solution gaps are resolved with the buy in of all stakeholders
• Dependencies are managed - both internal and external and both in terms of business and technology
• Encourage personal development and growth of staff you manage
• Actively input into BAT team management across all programmes

• Understanding of L&P administration systems and processes both user facing and internally

What you will be working on

• Conceptualise and implement new systems and processes to facilitate collection of CPF savings for platform workers (ride-hailing/on-demand delivery workers)
• Formulate and assess operational policies and processes, in collaboration with multiple counterparts across government and private entities
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (Finance/IT support/vendors) to co-create business and IT solutions
• Drive publicity and engagement efforts, and craft innovative communications materials for platform workers/operators, and the wider public

What we are looking for

• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and implement innovative solutions to complex challenges.
• Good leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Good communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade others.
• Knowledge of IT systems and solutions, as well as experience working with IT support and vendors, is desirable.
• Ability to drive publicity and engagement efforts, including developing and implementing marketing strategies, is advantageous.

The successful candidate will hold the corporate title of Manager/Senior Manager, with seniority based on individual work experiences.
