Daftcode's Culture: Good for a Tech Startup
Working at Daftcode has its ups and downs. I've learned a ton as a Junior Software Developer, and the people are genuinely nice. But, you really need to be good at managing your own time and asking for clarification on projects in this hybrid work setup.
The team here is really supportive, especially for new hires like me in a software development role. We often have social events and a generally friendly vibe in the Warsaw office. It's a pretty collaborative tech startup.
Sometimes the communication between different product teams isn't great, which can cause confusion. There's also a bit of a "hustle" culture that can feel demanding, making work-life balance tough some weeks.
Focus on improving cross-team communication processes to reduce project bottlenecks. Also, encourage teams to prioritize sustainable workloads over constant high-pressure sprints.
