Solid tech firm with good flexibility and interesting work
Working as a Software Engineer at Daftcode in Warsaw has been a good experience overall. The company offers great flexibility, and the projects are usually interesting and challenging. Communication within my team is strong, and there's a generally collaborative atmosphere. However, sometimes processes can be a bit slow, and career path visibility could be clearer.
The flexibility in terms of remote work and working hours is a huge plus, making it easy to balance personal life. Daftcode works on innovative projects, particularly in the AI and SaaS space, which keeps the technical challenges engaging. My colleagues are smart and supportive, and the overall team environment in the Warsaw office is positive.
While projects are interesting, sometimes the planning or internal processes can lead to delays, which is a bit frustrating. Career growth paths aren't always super defined, so you have to be proactive in seeking opportunities or clearer feedback on advancement.
