About The Role
Assist the technical team in sourcing products either specified by yourself or from a given part number/description from a list of UK-based suppliers, as well as other day-to-day tasks.

Day-to-Day Activities
- Using internal systems such as Hubspot (no experience with Hubspot necessary)
- Talking with suppliers over the phone / sending emails for pricing from part numbers
- Engineering calculations such as friction loss, pipe velocity, and densities (full training given if required)
- Data input + verification to a variety of Excel spreadsheets (example, product details to add an item to OrderWise [AP Order software])
- Communication with UK-based and overseas suppliers via email/telephone
- Assisting other team members
- Advising other departments within the company relating to technical questions
- Specifying pumps from the details given. i.e., Flow rate, head, and pipe details given – friction loss calculation and pump selection to be performed. Specification of pipe diameters will
- sometimes be required.
Technical admin is a varied role, and tasks can differ day to day. Flexibility will be required in the role with an open-minded approach.
Due to commercially sensitive information that will need to be known to carry out this role, an NDA is required to be signed before access to systems is made available.
Hours requested – 16:00 – 01:00 Philippine Time (08:00 – 17:00 U.K. Time)
