About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Engineer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems that power our online recruitment platforms. You will work on building scalable APIs, integrating various services, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our infrastructure. Your expertise will contribute to creating clean, maintainable code and stable architectures that support real-world load demands. As a key member of our development team, you will actively participate in architectural decisions, improve testing and deployment processes, and enhance system observability. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence technical strategies and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess several years of experience in software development with Python, demonstrating a strong commitment to clean code, testing, and maintainability. A hands-on mentality with the ability to think technically and contribute beyond ticket completion is essential. Candidates should have a solid understanding of backend development principles and modern architecture patterns. Experience with frameworks and tools such as Django, PostgreSQL, Docker, Grafana, and Linux is required. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Git-based workflows is also necessary. Strong ownership qualities, technical depth, and a desire to assume responsibility are critical. Fluency in both German and English at a C1 level or higher is expected to facilitate effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.

• Designing and implementing scalable, maintainable services capable of handling real-world load scenarios.

• Continuously improving testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and system performance metrics.
• Enhancing system observability and code quality through regular reviews and refactoring.
• Actively participating in architectural discussions and technical decision-making processes.
