About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Engineer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing scalable backend systems, APIs, and integrations that are critical to our operational success. You will work on designing and implementing robust, high-performance services capable of handling real-world load demands. Your expertise will contribute to creating clean, maintainable code and stable architectures that enhance our platform’s reliability and developer experience. Collaboration is key, and you will actively participate in architectural decisions, system design, and technical problem-solving to ensure our systems remain resilient and scalable. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in software development with Python, demonstrating a strong commitment to clean code, testing, and maintainability. You should possess a hands-on mentality with the ability to think technically and contribute beyond routine ticket completion. A solid understanding of backend development, modern architectures, and relevant technologies such as Django, PostgreSQL, Docker, Grafana, and Linux is essential. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Git-based workflows is required. Ownership mentality, technical depth, and a desire to take responsibility are highly valued. Fluency in both German and English (minimum C1 level) is necessary for effective communication within our international team.

- Developing productive Python backends, APIs, and integrations to support core business functions.
- Designing and implementing scalable, maintainable services capable of handling real-world load and traffic.
- Formulating clear, pragmatic solutions for complex technical requirements, ensuring system robustness and efficiency.
- Continuously improving testing strategies, increasing test coverage, and optimizing CI/CD, deployment, and performance monitoring processes.
- Contributing to architectural decisions, system design, and technical strategies to align with business goals.
- Collaborating closely with team members to develop sustainable, reliable, and high-quality systems that meet operational needs.
