About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Python Engineer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems that form the backbone of our online recruiting platforms. Your work will involve creating robust APIs, integrating various services, and ensuring the stability and performance of our software infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet real-world demands, emphasizing code quality, architecture stability, and developer experience. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability and efficiency of our systems, supporting millions of users across our platforms.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have several years of professional experience in software development with Python, demonstrating a strong commitment to clean code, testing, and maintainability. You should possess a hands-on mentality, with the ability to think technically and contribute actively to architectural decisions. Experience with modern backend frameworks and tools such as Django, PostgreSQL, Docker, Grafana, and Linux is essential. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Git-based workflows is also required. You should demonstrate ownership, technical depth, and a willingness to take responsibility for your work. Proficiency in both German and English at a minimum C1 level is necessary for effective communication within our international team.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing production-ready Python backend systems, APIs, and integrations to support our platforms' functionality and scalability.
• Designing and implementing scalable, maintainable services capable of handling real-world load scenarios.
• Formulating clear, pragmatic solutions for complex technical challenges, ensuring system robustness and efficiency.
• Continuously improving testing strategies, test coverage, CI/CD processes, deployment workflows, performance monitoring, and system observability.
• Actively participating in architectural discussions, system design, and making informed technical decisions.
• Collaborating closely with team members to build sustainable and resilient systems that align with business goals.
