About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Python Engineer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing scalable backend systems using Python, designing and implementing APIs, services, and integrations that are critical to our platform's reliability and performance. Your work will directly impact the core functionalities of our online job marketplaces and SaaS solutions, ensuring they operate smoothly under real-world loads. You will be involved in architectural decisions, system design, and continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled professional to contribute to innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of complex projects from conception through deployment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess several years of experience in software development with Python, demonstrating a strong commitment to clean code, testing, and maintainability. You should have a solid understanding of backend development and modern software architectures. Experience with Django, PostgreSQL, Docker, Grafana, and Linux is essential, along with proficiency in CI/CD processes, automation, and Git-based workflows. Ownership mentality, technical depth, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are highly valued. Fluency in both German and English (minimum C1 level) is required to facilitate effective communication within our international team. A hands-on mentality combined with the ability to think technically and solve complex challenges will make you a great fit for this role.

Responsibilities
