About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Python Engineer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems that support our online recruiting platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement APIs and services that handle real-world loads while ensuring high availability and stability. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing our architecture, optimizing performance, and improving our deployment pipelines.

As a Senior Python Engineer, you will actively participate in architectural decisions, system design, and technical problem-solving. You will also be expected to contribute to code reviews, testing strategies, and continuous integration and deployment processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to influence the technical direction of our products and to work on innovative solutions that impact thousands of users across Germany and Austria.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with several years of experience in software development with Python, demonstrating a strong commitment to clean code, testing, and maintainability. You should have a solid understanding of backend development and modern architectures, with practical experience in Django, PostgreSQL, Docker, Grafana, and Linux environments. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Git-based workflows is essential. Ownership mentality, technical depth, and a proactive approach to responsibilities are highly valued. Excellent communication skills in both German and English (minimum C1 level) are required to collaborate effectively within our international team.

• Design and implement scalable, maintainable services capable of handling real-world traffic and load.
• Develop clear, pragmatic solutions for complex technical requirements, balancing innovation with stability.
• Continuously improve testing strategies, test coverage, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and system observability.
• Contribute to architecture, system design, and technical decision-making processes, ensuring robustness and scalability.
