About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Python Engineer (m/w/d) to join our dedicated development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems using Python. You will work on building robust APIs, integrations, and services that are critical to our online platforms' performance and reliability. Your expertise will contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our system architecture, ensuring high availability and optimal performance under real-world load conditions. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess several years of professional experience in software development with Python. A strong understanding of backend development, modern architectural patterns, and cloud-native technologies is essential. You should have hands-on experience with frameworks such as Django, and familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL. Experience with containerization tools like Docker, monitoring tools such as Grafana, and Linux environments is important. Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Git-based workflows is required. We value candidates with a passion for writing clean, maintainable code, and who demonstrate ownership and technical depth. Excellent communication skills in German and English (minimum C1 level) are necessary to collaborate effectively within our international team.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include developing productive Python backends, APIs, and integrations that support our platforms' core functionalities. You will design and implement scalable, maintainable services capable of handling real-world load scenarios. Continuously improving testing coverage, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and system observability will be a vital part of your role. You will actively participate in architectural discussions, system design, and technical decision-making processes. Working closely with team members, you will focus on building sustainable, robust systems that meet high standards of performance and reliability. Additionally, you will contribute to code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing to foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
