About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analytics Engineer (d/m/w) to join our Data Analytics Team in Freiburg. This role is pivotal in building and maintaining our central data platform, which serves as the backbone for all data-driven initiatives within the company. As a Senior Data Analytics Engineer, you will leverage your technical expertise, methodological clarity, and communication skills to bridge the gap between complex data requirements and practical, scalable solutions. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, developers, and business stakeholders to translate needs into robust data architectures, ensuring the quality, security, and sustainability of our data landscape. Your work will directly impact our ability to make informed, data-driven decisions and foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the organization.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical proficiency, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset. Key qualifications include experience in stakeholder engagement, requirements engineering, and moderating cross-functional discussions. Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum and the ability to work seamlessly across organizational boundaries are essential. Strong DevOps competencies, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and monitoring tools, are required. Candidates should have solid expertise in data modeling, cloud infrastructures (preferably AWS), and programming languages such as SQL, TypeScript, and Python. Additional knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, MLOps, and Big Data technologies like Hadoop is advantageous. Fluency in German (minimum C1 level) and proficiency in English are also necessary to facilitate effective communication within our international team.

- Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines and infrastructure, implementing best practices for DevOps and cloud deployment.
