Responsible for ensuring that the products manufactured meet drawings and quality standards to minimise quality costs and maximise customer satisfaction whilst ensuring that procedures and processes are adhered to. Day to day duties:

Manage all quality related issues within the manufacturing team (e.g., internal, supplier, customer, and customer warranty)

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a technically minded individual with experience working within a quality role from a food manufacturing background, ideally bakery.

As an Internal Quality Assurance Verifier, you'll play a pivotal role in managing the quality assurance of training and assessments within our training centres, overseeing externally accredited qualifications such as Streetworks (NRSWA) Training and technical apprenticeships. What do I need?

As Internal Quality Assurance Verifier, you'll need to have sufficient occupational and technical competence to carry out the role and be confirmed as competent by any associated awarding bodys external verifier. You'll be able to operate within the safety culture and values of SSE and be able to promote these across the team so good communication skills are essential. You'll have good technical knowledge that can support the assessing and verification process for all required qualifications and be flexible to travel regularly within the UK to our delivery locations to monitor training and assessment activity.

To be considered for this role, we would also love you to have:

- Vocational experience working within the Power or Utilities Sector, including working on the highway.

- Experience in quality assurance and verification of accredited qualifications including auditing.

- Hold or be working towards a Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Process and Practice and a Level 3 Award in Education and Training as well as NRSWA Supervisor Units.

Job Purpose

The Quality Control Inspector (QCI) ensures that vehicles and parts meet quality and safety standards. During Quality checks, you are expected to thoroughly check through our vehicles. You will be tasked to identify and maintain records to improve processes so as to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.

Job Description

- Work closely with our workshop technicians.

- Perform QC checks based on the return vehicle QPI checklist.

- Indicate defects/mechanical faults accordingly to the checklist (1st checks).

- Submit checklist to the workshop to carry out the necessary rectifications.

- After workshop has completed the repair, perform 2nd checks to ensure all highlighted faults are rectified.

- Performs road tests

- Move around workshops to perform checks (Changi, Woodland’s depot, & Kranji, Carros centre).

- Assist the Fleet Management team with secondary tasks when required.

Skills and Knowledge

- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Attention to detail.

- Technical skills and ability to understand documents and manuals.

- Knowledge on the use of Inspection, Measuring and testing Equipment (IMTE).

- Knowledge of basic math and computer skills (Microsoft word, excel etc).

- Verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong leadership skills and teamwork mentality.

Qualifications / Certifications Required

- Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma or Equivalent
