Pros: I really enjoyed the challenging software development projects and the opportunities to work with modern technologies. The team atmosphere was supportive and collaborative, making daily work enjoyable. The location in Walloon Region was also convenient for my commute, and there were some flexible arrangements available which helped balance personal commitments.
Cons: While project work was engaging, career progression felt a bit unclear at times. Feedback loops weren't always robust, making it hard to gauge impact or development trajectory. Some decisions from leadership seemed to come out of the blue, leading to minor rework or confusion among the engineering teams. Better transparency on long-term strategy would be beneficial.
Advice to Management: Consider implementing more structured career pathing and clearer communication channels for strategic decisions. Regular town halls or Q&As with leadership could really boost transparency and team alignment.
