JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• To prepare and maintain daily site progress.
• To arrange with Machinery Department for mobilize or service and repair of machinery, equipment or plants at job site and other facilities and utilities.
• To liaise with Safety Department for implementation and maintain safety requirement at site.
• To supervise and monitor sub-contractor progress of work at site.
• To check any discrepancies between structure, architecture & M&E drawing and highlight to consultant.
• To liaise with Purchasing Manager for purchasing of building materials at site.
• To arrange and conduct sub-contractor meeting as well as attend other technical interface meetings with clients and consultants.
• To review structural drawings. To prepare and submit Request for Information (RFI) to consultant for inspection.
• To vet the approved method statement or work instructions.
• To ensure timely submission of shop drawings and follow-up preparation of As-Built Drawings and material samples submission at site.
• To carry out quality inspection for work done by sub-contractors at site as well as maintaining such records.
• To ensure corrective actions arising from customer complaint and non-conformance is implemented within the stated time frame.
• To carry out other job assignments as and when required by the immediate superior
• To recommend corrective action on work progress and verify claims for project.
• To issue site memo and NCRs to sub-contractors.
• To close-up all customer complaint, internal and external NCRs by client or consultants.
• To reject material delivered to site which is not accordance to specification or poor quality.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experiences in the related field is required for this position.
• Required skill(s): MS Office, AutoCad, Primavera
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin (added advantage)
• Willing to work at Genting
• Fresh graduate is welcomed to apply.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitoring daily production processes & output to ensure product compliances
• Perform in-process inspection & product outgoing inspection when necessary
• Process & product observation to detect unqualified matters
• Perform internal audits.
• Perform audit preparation and dealing with external auditors (from both local & OVERSEA)
• Product drawing review and technical support when necessary.
• Assist on issuing Certificate of Conformity and Test Report when necessary.
• Assist Head of QA on several administration job/task.
• Assist on new product project/development.
• Assist on dealing with notified/certification bodies when necessary (any assigned task)
• Assist on product testing (it would be COUNTLESS of trial and error), person with GOOD MENTALITY IS AN ADVANTAGE

Qualification / Minimum Requirements

• Manufacturing, Material, Process, Mechanical or other relevant engineering qualification EXCEPT Infrastructure & Architecture.
• Fresh Graduated or 2 years experience in factory or industrial environment
• QC and QA relevant experience are preferable
• Have some experience on handling new project (products & processes)
• Able to read & sketch mechanical drawing.
• Willing to work under minimal supervision to completed assigned task
• Good mentality is an advantage due to countless of product testing when necessary
• Willing to work longer hour when necessary
