JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carry out market research to observe market trends and evolution and the regulatory landscape in the industry.
• Perform a User Acceptance Test (UAT) to ensure the products are administered correctly in the system.  
• Develop product & marketing collaterals in close collaboration with relevant departments. Coordinate documents/materials review and sign-off.
•  Provide product training to relevant stakeholders.
• Serves as a secretary of the Product Steering Committee. Follow up with stakeholders on agreed action items and timeline.
• Carry out any other ad-hoc tasks as and when assigned by the supervisor in relation to products.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in any discipline, preferably in the Actuary or Statistics discipline.
• Fresh graduate or minimum 1 – 2 years of experience in product management, pricing, or underwriting in General Insurance

The Core Job:

• Configuration, Administration, Maintenance and Troubleshooting of enterprise servers for both Windows and Linux.
• Strong Windows and Linux system administration skills a must.
• Experience with VMWare vCenter administration
• Experience with IT Operations Platforms such as ManageEngine a strong plus
• Experience with any Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure/Huawei/Alibaba) a strong plus
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving server hardware, OS, and network issues working closely with vendors where required.
• Monitoring server and network performance metrics to ensure SLAs are kept
• Forecasting server/network usage taking into account user/application projections.
• Closing any audit issues with respect to server and network
• Experience in Backup Administration utilizing Veam or Cohesity is a strong plus
• Experience in High Availability design from a server and network perspective

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology or extensive field experience in lieu.

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

• Monitor the performance of agents and direct business under my SBU. 
• To ensure agents and clients will comply with Bank Negara guidelines. Monitor the supply and control the issuance of the cover notes. 
• To arrange with the risk surveyor to conduct a pre-acceptance surveyor and another risk survey including loss minimization when necessary. Responsible for collection premiums from agents/clients and other intermediaries 
• To ensure timely issuance of policies/endorsement. To keep tap and ensure that agents comply with CBC, MMC, and CPD hours. 
• To continuously recruit new agents to enlarge the networking base. Maintain the correct portfolio mix of business or type of business as required by company management. 
• Achieved targets as set by management to support the company’s business plan and objectives. 
• Attend communication meetings and any other meetings where relevant. 
• Be multi-skilled and able to assist other sections/departments within the company as and when required. Performs any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
