SUMMARY OF POSITION
Working under Direct Superior, assisting in Supply Chain department.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Approve and process invoices generated by the system
2) Create GRN for goods return
3) Organizing and maintaining records on system
4) Compiling data and generating reports for supervisor
5) Communicating with suppliers and logistics team
6) To perform ad hoc tasks assigned by superior from time to time
REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCES: -
a) At least a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management/other related studies
b) Intermediate Excel Sheet skills
c) Must be proficient with written and spoken English, Malay, and Mandarin (Preferred)
d) Preferred those with experience in FMCG
e) Excellent verbal and written communication skills
f) Five and the half days work week (Half day on Saturday)

About the company
This company is an established and respected international freight forwarder in Malaysia, providing total logistic and complete inter-modal transportation system with a vast network worldwide. Due to their ever increasing business volume, they are currently seeking to appoint capable candidates to assume the role of Export Freight Forwarding Administrator within their busy operations team. The position will be based at their business operations head office at Kelana Jaya in Petaling Jaya.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well established organization in international logistics industry. Previous experience in logistics or shipping industry will be ideally suitable although those without the relevant experience but with positive right work attitude will be duly considered.
Role & Responsibilities
This is a fast-paced role and applicant will need a high degree of accuracy and details and an ability to coordinate and multi-task.
The logistics professional functions as an interface between international and domestics service providers and the broader business.
The role will see you responsible for the execution of freight movements for exports ocean/sea freight shipments. As the Export Freight Administrator, you will be responsible for end to end export coordination to include handling export inquiries, confirming information with your clients and service providers, preparing/lodging all export documentation, ensuring all information is accurately recorded in Cargowise (system) and raising relevant invoices (charges). Your lines of duties will include collating export document, bookings with shipping lines, organizing movement of cargo, client invoicing, etc. The role will encompass the following responsibilities:
*Manage the necessary documentation for the efficient and legal execution of import and export activities.
*Consolidation preparation.
*Update in the computer systems with manifesting data in accordance with shipper's instructions
*Input data into the EDI management system.
*Check and verify Bill of Lading/invoice print.
*Resolve cargo reporting discrepancies with Customs department.
*Collaborating with the Accounting team to resolve discrepancies with Operations invoicing matters.
*Maintenance of cargo security and appropriate records.
*Provide documentation,reporting and quotations to customers.
*Play a key role in customer implementation,development and retention,actively managing own customer accounts,providing quality customer service.
*Build and maintain strong, professional working relationships with customers to support development of new and additional business streams.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for applicants who are energetic, enthusiastic and pro-active driven person (Malaysian female) to apply for this role.
Candidates with the following qualification and experience will be considered:
-Tertiary qualifications (Degree or Diploma level) in Logistics, International Freight Forwarding or relevant disciplines; or equivalent commercial experience .
-Minimum 3 years' industry experience in Freight forwarding /Supply Chain & Logistics;those without the logistics experience but with the right work attitude and genuine passion and interest will be duly considered.
-Strong communication skills,both verbal and written English.
-Intermediate level skills with MS Office suite and electronic systems such as Cargowise-EDI.
-Proven track record related to customer service role in previous employment will be advantageous.
