To manage Linde Gas Singapore operations to ensure it is maintained safe, reliable, and efficient.
The operations are to achieve key performance indicators (KPI’s) and annual plan objectives.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Accountable for compliance with safety, health, environmental, quality and relevant industry standards.
· Accountable for safe, efficient, and reliable operation of assets
· Accountable for investigating and troubleshooting process issues and outages
· Support process improvement, productivity and reliability projects
· Accountable for the planning, supervision, and execution of day to day operation activities
· Accountable for the operation activities execution of day to day maintenance activities including PM / CM
· Responsible for ensuring Permit to Work process is followed and adhered before it is approved.
· Responsible for compliance to all Procedures, Routines, Logs and other Operational Processes
· Accountable for meeting contractual and supply commitments
· Responsible to create new / revise SOP for operational activities when required
· Accountable for planning and executing TAR operational activities
· Accountable for controllable site costs
· Accountable for timely and accurate data reporting
· Responsible for pre-comm & commissioning operation activities for new projects
· Participate in audits (internal & external) and accountable in closing corrective action items
· Participate in Root Cause Analysis investigation and accountable in closing action items
· Appointed as acting Site Supervisor when situation arises
· Any other operational matters as required.
· Any other jobs assigned by supervisor/manager.
Required Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
· ITE in Chemical Process technology /Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
· 2 - 3 years Operational experience with demonstrable exposure to process plant operations and site-based activity or equivalent.
· Overall knowledge of process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control systems
· Effective communicator
· Collaborative approach
· Capable of utilising company business and safety systems
· Prioritisation and time managemen
· Able to work independently as well as in a team environment under tight schedule.
· Able to work with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel)
· Strong troubleshooting skills with self-initiative in solving day-to-day operation issues.
· Familiarity with P&ID Diagrams
· Prioritisation and time management
· Holding a Class 3 Driving licence will be an added advantage
