Job Summary:

The Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability are maintained throughout the production process. This role involves conducting thorough inspections, measurements, and tests to verify compliance with specifications and customer requirements. The Quality Technician will play a crucial role in the first article inspection of incoming Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), conducting visual and measurement checks, performing kitting of components, and conducting outgoing quality checks post-assembly.

Position Summary:

Oversee performance and on time delivery of the environmental lab, including management of lab personnel and the various environmental tests including thermal shock, burn-in, overload, temperature, humidity, conformance, and reliability testing.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include, however not limited to:

Test antigen and / or vaccine, to required standards, according to set schedules/timelines by:

• Planning, conducting, reporting and interpreting routine laboratory assays in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Ensuring adequate stocks of reagents, test materials and equipment are available to perform tests on time

Accurately record all test data / observations by:

• Documenting all tasks in test records, worksheets or logbooks in accordance with Good Documentation Practice

• Peer reviewing work of other team members on procedures in which they are fully trained

Maintain housekeeping standards by:

• Performing housekeeping tasks in accordance with SOPs and GLP

• Completing regular assigned housekeeping inspections

• Maintaining lab equipment in fully operational state of calibration / validation, including performing routine calibrations

• Referring to, understanding and following applicable Global Quality Policies

Minimise Events / invalid test assays by:

• Monitoring assays for unusual occurrences including preparing and reviewing trends of assay results

• Investigating and reporting on Events

• Notifying supervisor of potential failures, recording faults and rectifying common faults independently

Contribute to the continuous improvement and introduction of new methods in the department by: 

• Implementing assigned CAPA identified in investigations 

• Performing routine test method or equipment validations under direction

• Authoring or technically reviewing SOPs for procedures in which they are fully trained

Be an active member of the QC team by:

• Completing training in assigned area / tasks

• Providing on-the-job training for other members of the QC team

Pest Control Technicians- South East Area

This role is working with one of the UK's largest Property, Security, Maintenance and Pest Management companies.

Ideally candidates will be qualified to BPCA or RSPH Level 2 or equivalent in Pest Management although further training can be provided

Candidates will be paid £29,099.20 + holiday pay and package, plus you will also be given the opportunity of overtime, commission-based sales bonus should the company achieve the required criteria + holidays and other benefits

The OTE for the role is 33k

Job Purpose- Responsibility for all pest control works, including all pest control equipment, safe transportation and use of pest control materials as well as preparing and submitting detailed pest control reports. use of pest control materials as well as preparing and submitting detailed pest control reports. Key Result Areas- To work individually or as part of a team to respond to infestations at customer properties, which include domestic dwellings and commercial premises. The candidate selected will be required to carry out surveys for premises with pest control problems and to control and eradicate all Public Health Pest, including rats, mice, squirrels, cockroaches, bed bugs, wasps, as well as types of wildlife such as seagulls. To identify extra pest control opportunities when carrying out the first stage treatment and quote accordingly. To Inform all relevant persons of the associated dangers that may arise during the treatment process and any relevant procedures to be followed in case of an emergency.

Candidates need to show excellent customer service and to maintain accurate records of visits made, quantities and description of treatments, including baits used and time taken on site

Our client will supply a vehicle, Personal Protective Equipment and uniform will be supplied as well as all required pest control materials, equipment and tools

Candidates must have a drivers licence and to have reasonable ICT Skills

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm with overtime available.

These roles will become permanent after 13 weeks probation.

• Manage and respond timely on helpdesk requests and emails.
