Job Description
To provide medical expertise and receive medical training to support patients living the healthiest lives possible.
- Provide patient care that meets or exceeds the standard of care for the specialty(s) or subspecialty(s) of practice.
- Perform patient care duties at the location(s) and according to the schedule determined by the specialty and site of care.
- Maintain the volume of care defined by the standards set by the specialty and site of care.
- Engage in effective, professional collaboration with all members of the healthcare team.
- Adhere to all professional expectations as set forth in the Intermountain Physician and APP Handbook, your letter of agreement, and medical staff bylaws of Intermountain facilities where privileged.
- As a formal or informal leader, you must role model our values and professionalism, create and nurture a psychologically safe workplace and team with those who support you in caring for those you have the privilege
Minimum Requirements
- Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree; or equivalent if education completed outside the United States
- Active Medical Licensure, or in process of obtaining licensure, is required in the state in which physician will practice.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
