- Serves as a senior program manager and recognized authority/advisor to the Directorate Head and the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army, Defense Exports and Cooperation in the areas Security Cooperation/Security Assistance training.
- Writes papers and briefings on training policy issues for Army Security Assistance Enterprise (ASAE) leadership. Provides expert advice and assistance regarding the training component of special FMS cases.
- Staffs Combatant Command (CCMD)-validated requests for approval through various HQDA staff offices for training support from Security Cooperation Offices.
- Provides policy decisions regarding requests for exemptions to Army policy and issues for which no clear policy exists.
- Analyzes and interprets Department of State (DOS), Department of Defense (DoD), OASA (ALT), and Headquarters, Department of Army (HQDA) policy and guidance to develops, staff, and promulgates Army Security Assistance training initiatives and policy.
