The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that gathers deep insights and ensures quality assurance in Project Wolbachia – Singapore.
You will be involved in various analytical and entomological activities including, but not limited to, data cleaning and management, statistical analysis, conducting biological assays and experiments, developing or/and evaluating quality assessment of Wolbachia-Aedes strains, and preparing reports on situational awareness. You will be operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
Requirements:
- Applicants with life science or data analytics background will have an advantage
- Computer literate with a good grasp of MS Excel and/or GIS tools
- Inclination to appreciate technical data sets and records management
- Able to work independently and as a team in dynamic settings
- Able to systematically perform routine work processes and have an eye for details
- Self-motivated learners in exploring and adopting new concepts and techniques
- Willing to work after office hours and/or weekends when necessary
