The On Site Service Consultant is responsible for the agreed service delivery to the sites. The On Site Service Consultant is designed as escalation instance and responsible when service delivery requires local hands-on support, local guidance of users, or local language skills. The On Site Service Consultant works actively together with operational users of the IT services and collaborates pro-actively with colleagues to deliver better and quicker service.
Responsibilities / Tasks
What education, knowledge and experience do you need?
Check the list of open tickets, engage with users of open tickets. Proactive approach, don't wait for things to go wrong, prevent the fire from starting
Run checklists on local IT infrastructure.
Train local user community how to use the IT Support processes; Introduce and monitor GEA IT standards and IT Security
Document local IT specifics
Support the business in using the Self Service Portal, train if needed
Provide local specific service level reporting towards the business. Monitoring of the provision of services to all assigned locations
Record and handle user complaints; Being first contact person for any single user related complaints. Ensure that customer and user complaints as well as escalations are handled
Provide feedback about service performance for Service Owner.
Create work instructions that fulfill local requirements and local demand.
Actively see for ways to work continuously on service improvement
Support in collecting local requirements in regard to global and local projects.
Your Profile / Qualifications
What education, knowledge and experience do you need?
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in IT support roles, with a strong focus on proactive problem-solving.
Familiarity with IT infrastructure and standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to train and educate users effectively.
Strong documentation and reporting abilities.
Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
